Mas a relação de Charles Manson com a música não se fica pela inspiração no álbum dos Beatles. Escreveu musicas, há um album para história dele: Lie: The Love and Terror Cult. Musicas escritas por ele foram interpretadas por bandas conhecidas (beach boys, gun’n’roses, etc). O Youtube está cheio de documentários sobre ele, músicas dele, covers, etc.

Brenda Ann Spencer, uma miúda americana de 16 anos de idade, acordou uma segunda feira, foi para a janela de casa dela e matou duas pessoas e feriu outras nove. Os alvos eram miúdos a entrar para a escola (em frente à casa dela) e um policia. Quando questionada “Porque?” ela limitou-se a responder “Não gosto de segundas-feiras”. Isto aconteceu no dia 29 de Janeiro de 1979.

O Bob Geldof escreveu sobre este episódio uma canção que fica para a história (leiam a letra e vejam ao mesmo tempo que ouvem). É absolutamente genial e arrepiante (a interpretação no live aid é a minha preferida).
